Advanced quantum sensing and imaging

Overview
Push imaging frontiers of quantum imaging in terms of resolution, time, temperature, and energy range.
Develop tools and methods to image:
- The electron states in synthetic quantum electronic superlattices
- The intricate many-body quantum wavefunction in strongly correlated systems
- Electronic band movement in time
- The breathing of the lattice, as affected by the hopping terms, giving rise to nontrivial e-ph coupling
An important aspect in this effort is to develop novel scanning-probe microscopy tools to probe the phenomena that emerge from interaction, topology, and twisting.
